Hi all! This might be a silly question...but I am sending off my K-1 TODAY and I found another box on my I-129 that I didn't mark. Ugh! It just asks if my fiancee has ever been to the US before. Can I just mark it with pen or do I need to fill it out again and print it out? It's question 15. And question 34a on the application, did everyone write/type in "Please see attachment/continuation"? Yes, I am a worrier and stressing myself out :P

Thank you!

I believe you can file the form out in black ink, if I recall the instructions. I don't think ere would be a problem with marking a box with black ink. I have done that myself on some of our forms. Good luck.

Go ahead and use a pen to check the box, that will not cause any problems

Just a tip since you will be doing immigration forms for a l-o-n-g time to come---

Always save forms to you computer, then you can easily fix things and reprint a page AND you have a copy to look at when you start second guessing yourself while you wait.

Congratulations on filing today.

I don't have the correct Adobe version but my fiance does. He is saving them all but that doesn't do me much good haha :) Would you recommend that it all be typed? I still have time before I can mail them.

Thanks!

Hmmm...I don't think I have any special version of Adobe, except Adobe Reader. I click File>Save As> and pick a place to save (a folder I call Immigration) and give it a name. Not a computer guru so don't know.

I think it's okay to hand write.

Allow me to add that you should use a cloud service like "drop box" or "google drive" where you can save your documents to and if they need to be reprinted or corrected you and he have the document.

Yes you can use black ink to make changes or additions.

If needed you can use Acrobat DC with Services on the web. First 30 days is free then $14.99 per month. Cancel when you want.
