So after reading over how many couples are getting seriously screwed by CO in Ghana, im really scared and nervous... I was excited... lol:/ This is truly terrible, so, i am going to write my congressman and senator now.. It is not fair, that someone has to judge how true our love is and tell us its not real they need more proof... smh.. This process is expensive to get denied... Jah be with us all going through this process... its not for the faint of heart

It may be wise to contact your elected Federal officials when you have a concern specific to your case. The key to approval for many folks in designated high-fraud countries is to "front-load" your initial I-129F petition with as much and as many types of relationship evidence as possible. The previously mentioned K1 Visa Guide contains examples of the types of evidence you will want to include with your petition filing. That is what I did when I initially submitted my I-129F petition for my then- fiancee in China (another high-fraud country).

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Yes we should chat I'm mostly available on the weekends, contacting your congressman or senator now isn't necessary, it is best to follow the guide here, when you front load show the picture of your relationship in your communications, when your fiancee has there interview send them with where you left off in your front loading, and make sure your fiancee knows everything there is to know about you and family and kids if you have any, This journey is not for the faint hearted, this Emabssy is no joke read all you can here about Ghana Emabssy and focus on the people who were approved and see what did to get it, study study study you and your fiancee and good luck ☺️☺️??

How many visits have you made to Ghana and have you met his family? Those are a big deal in this embassy, among other things.

I enjoyed everything and they really was very hospitable.. the second visit was in 2014 it was just us and it was beautiful.. Its expensive but the trips were worth it. I couldnt make it in 2015 cause of financial reasons. This year we decided to lets use the money to apply for the k1 visa.. We hired a lawyer, i believe it will be worth it..

Unless you have a complicated case, and can fill out forms you don't need a lawyer. You will be having to provide all the info for the lawyer to fill the forms anyway. Spend the money saved on a trip to Ghana to be there with your fiancé for the interview! When did you visit in 2014? You need to have met your fiancé within 2 years of filing the petition, something to keep in mind. This is a DIY site, we're here to help. Having gone through the embassy in Ghana my one piece of advice is to frontload, it's important with this embassy!

What do you mean by front load? I read some cases where they also used a lawyer.. All information is awsome and i greatly appreciate it.. it was in june, so we will be sending our info to uscis in march..

I agree to do this without a lawyer if you can follow the guides here and read the threads, you will be doing all the leg work and getting the info and data

ready, all the lawyer will do is send it off with a stamp.

Save the money and make another trip and be there for the interview instead.

Enter 'front loading a petition' into the key search upper right and the google search will bring up many threads on this for you to study.

Chances are your lawyer has no idea what is meant by this either.
