AOS returned do to wrong cheaque???

Hey everyone I need some advd

My AOS Application was returned today do to wrong amount for the AOS and I am curious since all my other information is correct do I still have to redo it since the dates of the signings is back in the end of Jan and do I send back the rejection letters with the green letter I received

Please help

Well, how much was the cheque that you sent? Did you send it from a US or CAD account? If they say it's wrong, I wouldn't send the same one.

My husband paid for it from his US acct and paid 1,071 so he paid an extra dollar in error

Resubmit your already completed paperwork, with a new check, in the correct amount, presented in the proper format:

Then that is the problem. The amount must be exact. You need to send a check for $1070. Return your whole AOS submission they returned along with the correct amount and green letter on top.

Thank u so much and I warned my husband about the dollar but he can be so hard headed and now this happened , I will just mail it out tomorrow with the correct amount

Only thing bothering me is how they stapled everything in a weird order that I never did but let's hope they can still understand it

Unfortunately the other posters are correct, the amount has to be exact. If you send the same one again it will be rejected again. Send the correct cheque & good luck.

Edited to add; if they changed some stuff around it was just them checking to see if anything else was missing. Leave it as it is.

They stapled a bunch of papers together and put table of contents in the middle of it which does not go in order of table of contents

OH they don't care about YOUR table of contents, the file may have been arranged to how the adjudicators want it. I'm curious how they moved the papers around. It's also possible that they just moved everything to make sure you weren't missing anything until it's put into the folder.
