ok...i'm definately upset with our lawyer since he seems to delay things rather than speed them up. I got the NOA1 on Feb. 13th and my timeline says that I might get NOA2 by Feb. 28th and if i don't hear anything within 10 days after that I should call USCIS. Today is the 12th already...just how much should I be concerned?

Lawyers can and will sit on paperwork. We can too but at least we know about it.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

Dan,

I miss your suitcase being thrashed and battered.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Have you tried looking up your case on the USCIS website? I think it would mention a NOA2 if they sent it to your lawyer??? I could be wrong. Someone confirm or deny what I said.

I confirm, lucho. :)

My timeline is similar to yours, and I received my hard copy in the mail today, but knew about it on Firday because of my obsessive checking on the USCIS website. Check there first, then hold tight for a couple of days, maybe followup with your lawyer and then call.

The vast majority of VJ's aren't concerned about there petition only after a few weeks (most people are looking at months). Be patient and your time will come. I would only get concerned if you recieved a notice that your petition has been sent to some other Service Center.

If you can't be patient during the NOA process, the remainder of the wait until the visa approval might kill you :P

Edited for grammer.
