Hey Guys.. Can anybody tell me what to do. Until now I don't have my GC. Well, we received a letter stated that my GC will be email on March 2nd this year. No require interview! It is possible? No interview they will gonna send it through mail? Does anyone experienced this? I really want to get this GC asap to get my SNN! It's almost a year now. Im so frustrated! My husband can't get his Tax Refund like $$$$. And we badly needed it.

Ps. I did not get my SNN right after my arrival bc we are so confident that we can get it anytime, but then we found out we only have 21days. We're too late! SO now my GC is needed to get my SNN.

didnt know that about SSN and being too late, but yes for k1 its been shown on threads here that some interviews are not req'd and some get exempted

Correct, if you don't get your SSN before your 90 day I-94 runs out, one needs to wait for the GC.

It's almost a year now. Im so frustrated! My husband can't get his Tax Refund like $$$$. And we badly needed it.

Why? You don't need a SSN to file his taxes. You could get a ITN number to enter onto the tax form.

Hello Baron, I apologized everyone for my English and SNN. lol. SSN rather i was on hurry typing! Anyway, his accountant told him thou, we need my SNN nothing else. That's very interisting. I will check it. Thank You!!

I know of quite a few that didn't complete an interview and received their green card. Being you got notice it is being processed, be patient...

Did you apply for EAD and receive that card? EAD card (I-766) can be used to get SSN also.

I know of quite a few that didn't complete an interview and received their green card. Being you got notice it is being processed, be patient...

Did you apply for EAD and receive that card? EAD card (I-766) can be used to get SSN also.

Just be patient, my wife got her green card two weeks after we got notice it was in production.

EAD is not needed once you have the GC.

One more question My husband wants my daughter to replace her FamillyName to be like his own. We are going to do the K2 probably this June. How does it affects us? What to do first. Should we change her family name before the process of K2 or just wait until she got her?

Can't change your daughters name to your husband's until he adopts her. You complete the K-2 process, then once she is in the states your husband would complete the adoption process.
