Filipino fiancées port of entry will be Seattle Washington, but there is no direct flights here from Manila. Is it better for her to come through Korea or Taiwan. What documentation will she need to pass through either of these countries?

It is very common to have a connecting flight from Taiwan, Korea, and Japan so don't worry. As long as she is not leaving the airport and is just doing a lay over then there is no problem and no documentation needed.

I have flown through all three when visiting her in Philippines. Just wondering if there is any differance in her security checks? Will she need to allow for a flight with a longer layover. I like flying Asiana through Korea, Incheon airport with only 1 1/4 hour layover. Is she going to be able to pass through security as fast as me to board next flight? Edited by Amy & Randy

No problem at all. I have flown through Nagoya with my then fiance now asawa, we only had almost 2 hours to get through. There was no problem at all.

The quickest way, including flight times and layovers, to get from Manila to Seattle is by flying Delta. We have done it several times. There is a two-hour layover at Narita and we have never had to rush to catch our connecting flight.

Your fiancée won't need any documentation to pass through any of the countries mentioned as long as she doesn't leave the airport.

I've flown that flight before too. I'm just worried about her traveling with USA K-1 Visa. So your saying they won't Question her about her Philippine passport at security check?
