I have a K1 visa and I have moved to America and I am now married to my wife. I am still waiting for my Greencard and I have recieved work authorization but it is going to expire soon. Does anybody know where I go to renew my EAD?

Thanks,

David

send the I765 and supporting docs to the Chicago lockbox. make sure you have at least 100 days prior to expiration to ensure enough time to be processed.

Why do the instructions say to reapply within six months?

i suppose to make sure you have submitted the paperwork in time for them to process the renewal. Maybe the verbiage needs to be updated since we are consistently seeing around 100 day approvals. Even the USCIS processing timelines are right around what we see here, and with that current trend, I dont see a problem suggesting to give at least 100 day adviance submission. i think several people have weighed in on this "6 month suggestion" before.

Do you see something I do not?
