Hi All,

As of today my EAD has been pending for 91 days. We raised a request with them earlier in the month and they told us today that we can't raise another request for information until 30days after the first

Has anyone else experienced a slow EAD approval or have any advice on how to proceed

This is now affecting job offers

Contact your congressman/woman's or senator's immigration representative and see if they can help. These EAD delays seem to be reported more often now...

Annoying! I wanna start actively job hunting, but I am only on day 32 of 90...if the EADs are slowing down...

Recently there have been a spate of reports posted in this forum of folks having to wait longer than 90 days for the EAD.

This recent thread tells of a troublesome new USCIS proposal to lengthen EAD processing times. However, I don't think that it is in effect yet. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/586240-uscis-proposes-removal-of-90-day-processing-time-for-eads/

Same thing happened to me and I actually had two service requests submitted (didn't help at all btw). Maybe book a INFOPASS with your local USCIS office?

I-751 (ROC) Approved

08.18.2018 I-751 extended for 18 months (through October 2019)

04.24.2019 Combo Interview (with N-400) approved

N-400 Approved

01.01.2019 Qualified for N-400 application

01.02.2019 Filed N-400 Online

01.22.2019 Biometrics Appointment

03.18.2019 Interview Scheduled (USCIS text notification & appointment letter online)

04.24.2019 Combo Interview (with ROC) approved

IM coming upto 90 days tomorrow. Just went to congressmans office and filled out a form. Got infopass tomomorrow. My job was supposed to start this week. Now im really frustrated and desperate for my EAD

I have tried to do an INFOPASS online and I keep getting a message saying no appointments available. Has anyone else experienced this?

nope - i did it today for tomorrow. in South NJ

You can bring proof of your job offer and request an EAD expedite.

NVC Received : some dinkelsberry yehoo in the house of clingons send our petition to the wrong consulate.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

US Entry : Nov. 21, 2014

Marriage : Dec 27, 2014

AOS send : May 12, 2015, received May 14, 2015 USPS priority

RFE response : June 26, 2015 returned with a boat load full of financial evidence.

UPDATE: July 5, 2015 updated on all 3 cases, RFE received June 30, 2015.

Service request : Aug 12, 2015, letter received that it will be processed within 90 days from receipt of RFE.

UPDATE: Aug 24, 2015, EAD card being produced/ordered. ( 102 days from AOS receipt day and 55 days from RFE response received.) Thank you Jesus !

Renewal EAD in production notification text and online, expedite successful 4 days after RFE request response was faxed, Aug25mailed,Aug29received.

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

I managed to get an infopass appointment for 2 weeks time

How do you request an ead expedite?

Phone USCIS and request an expedite, you'll require information i.e. a job offer stating you require your EAD to start. Without evidence of this they won't expedite. You can phone Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman Toll-Free: 1-855-882-8100 and ask them to look in to it.

Adjustment of Status (AOS), Removal of Conditions (ROC) Followed by N400 

 

AOS from ESTA

03-13-2015: AOS Packet Mailed to Chicago Lockbox Facility via USPS

03-14-2015: Arrived at Post Office Chicago, IL

03-17-2015: AOS Packet received by USCIS

03-23-2015: Text/ Email Notification: Notice of Acceptance

03-28-2015: NOA1 for AOS, AP & EAD received in the mail

04-03-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived with lawyer

04-07-2015: Notice of Appointment for Biometrics on the 14th of April at 9 a.m arrived at my address (lot slower)

04-06-2015: Early walk in for Biometrics complete 6th April, walked in at 3pm and spoke with the centre manager

05-14-2015: Expedite request made

05-15-2015: USCIS site says expedite complete but no change.

06-01-2015: Case enquiry opened with USCIS as its passed 75 days.

06-02-2015: EAD/AP card in production and to be distributed.

06-05-2014: Hard copy notice to say EAD approved.

06-08-2015: EAD Card arrived in the mail.

08-25-2015: 161 Days since filing and no interview date.

01-12-2016: 300 Days since filingand no interview date.

02-24-2016: Case scheduled for Interview March 26th 2016 (347 days after filing and will be well over a year come interview date).

04-02-2016: GREEN CARD ARRIVED.

I sent 3 service request and waited 95 days and then wops my EAD/AP and green card was approved.

I called for one service request when I was on day 87, sent one online on day 75 and then another one on day 91

Just came back from Infopass, complete waste of time for me. The woman was rude, just said cant help you. I said "on the website it says you can arrange a meeting if EAD is pending 90 days" - she said "I dont care whats on the website, we cant help, go home and wait"

Relying on congressman to give me some good news.. Real desperate now.. 90 days and counting
