Hi, this is my first post here but I've certainly been scouring through the posts, stats and timelines!

I know I shouldn't be, and I know what the answer is, but I can't help myself... I'm really anxious that we haven't received our NOA2 yet, is anyone else worried? We did receive our NOA1 on January 4 and noticed that there's been some around the same date and later that have already received theirs.

I'm seriously having a word with myself for fretting but this is by far the most anxious situation I've found myself in!

Hang in there, my noa1 is December 23 and as of today still no update. It's still within their normal processing time so there nothing you can do other than patiently waiting.

Good luck

It's a process, we all must go through it. Still I'm trying to be patient but it's hard waiting for anything with these visas. We are waiting our case complete to get an interview. I told myself only check once a week so I don't burn myself out. When we did the first step, I told myself 4 months then check. 4 months 11 days we got our noa2. So I learned everything for next step for my visa while waiting. Helped keep me busy...

1/18/2016 paid aos fee

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review, was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

We got our NOA1 in late december, and just got our NOA2 last friday (hasnt actually arrived in the mail yet but I checked status online and it shows it was sent on the 19th). It was right in the estimated date range on my VJ timeline for the california service center. But some centers are faster than others.

Congrats on the NOA2!! Unfortunately, our estimated time has long passed, it was between 17 and 20 February but it is only an estimate. I've stopped looking at all stats and don't check USCIS anymore either, it was becoming obsessive and it's still early days. It will come.... just not fast enough!

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

Hi, I'm new here and Inhope that someone can help me with my concern, I receive a notification from CSC asking for a RFE which I sent back and they received on Feb 17 and the new status says that they are going to star working again with my case and send me the final decision or notify me if they need something else for my case, somebody know how long I have to wait to get the NOA2 Approval?

We received an RFE as well:

November 20 - RFE packet was received by USCIS

November 25 - Our application was approved (we checked using the app)

December 2 - We received the hard copy of our NOA2

But again bear in mind that all cases are different :)

If you used My Case Status on the USCIS website to check your status previously, then you may continue checking on your case there.

I did install one of the available mobile apps though, which is this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.robertmm.usciscasestatus
