I am seriously confused now

I've been following the guidelines and information to a T and I still feel like I'm missing a lot of requirements.

To make it easy here's my vj timeline: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?cfl=&id=213824

According to the above, I need a bunch of other things, and our appointment is on Friday, 26 Feb.

What is the IIN and where do i get it? The info that I have says it should be in the letter the NVC sent me, it's not.

What is the BIN and where do i get it? I couldn't find any info on this.

What are the following? NVC Left, Consulate Received, Packet 3 Received, Packet 3 sent, Packet 4 received?

Maybe some of these things are (hopefully) covered by what I've done already.

For the record, I've been following the information from the link in the NVC letter, which is http://nvc.state.gov/k1 (it redirects).

As far as I can tell, I'm past "The First Step: Filing the Petition".

I never received a letter from the NVC stating they sent the documents to the embassy, but I've completed the rest of the things in that list.

I've already submitted the form DS-160 and paid the relevant fee, so if I never received the notice that the NVC sent the docs to the US Embassy in Manila, is this wasted?

I've also already scheduled the interview with the embassy, which is this Friday. Should I cancel this interview?

My fiancee also already complete the ST Luke's medical stuff, they told her it's valid for 6 months, but I've read on here that it's only good for 2 months. Was this also wasted?

Also, is there another fee that I'm supposed to pay other than the initial I-129F and the DS-160?

Seems my edit expired, so I'll add it here...

I went through all my emails again, and I did in fact receive an email from the US Embassy in Manila that states they received my case and I can schedule for a visa interview, but I am still confused as to what the IIN and BIN are, and where I get them.

Edit Again:

My fiancee also received a small packet from the Embassy, which was only a photocopy of the approved I-129F petition.

Alright, so after taking a breath and going over everything again, I had everything I needed except for the IIN & BIN which I got after calling the NVC.

Hopefully all is good now

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I have no idea what the IIN and the BIN are. I'm betting you don't need them. Also, pay no attention to the packet 3 and packet 4 stuff. It's irrelevant for the U.S. Embassy Manila.

You should read the K-1 interview preparation instructions from the U.S. Embassy Manila:

Forget about the BIN and IIN ... not part of the K-1 process.

Follow the embassy instructions letter for what is required for the visa application.

What you need is the MNL #

If you have a copy of the NVC with the MNL# email it to your fiancee, she can use it for the medical at SLEC.

I'm all squared away now, I got both the IIN and BIN (beneficiary id number) from the NVC in case I need them. SLEC stuff is all done as well. Interview is this friday so hopefully all goes well... I'm hoping they see our kids' CRBA's and just approve us without any headaches heh (I'll be going with her).

Just as a side note though, I've read several guides from several places (including yours), and they don't all really tell you the same thing. I think there are least 3 different "guides", or rather, information sets, that come directly from the embassy's website, and even with those, a lot of the links lead to 404's, or the information is different, etc.

At any rate, I was just in panic mode when we went over everything yesterday to make sure all the papers were in order, then I saw some stuff about the IIN, BIN, packets 3/4, etc so kinda put the cart before the horse so to speak.
