Arrived Manila Oct 2014 went to HK Nov 2015 can file DCF?

Hi everyone! I arrived in Manila last Oct 2014 after a 2 week vacation in Chicago, then last Nov 2015, I went to HK for a week with my kids, my question is, can I file for DCF this March? or do I have to wait for April which is the 6th month after my HK trip?

There was another member who had a similar situation to yours. He sent an email to the embassy about it and they replied and said that he's eligible to file so long as he can prove that he has maintained his residency in the Phils.

Give them a call or send them an email just to be sure as it might be a case to case basis.
