You clearly didn't read all my messages if you think am hell bent on coming to the US. Having a Visa doesn't mean every time I vacation it would be the US. And yes, I am trying to pay backbone my bill. I went to the US when I 25 weeks, last time I check a full term pregnancy is 40 weeks. My intentions was to spend 1 month which would have made the pregnancy 29 weeks, I had a lot of time to get to home country but I was hospitalized and placed on bedrest until confinement and was unable to full back home, again the baby was premature. I didn't go to have my baby but it happened and I can't undo it, trust me, if I could I would. It was my first and only pregnancy. Bottomline is, eveven though

Even though I want a Visa doesn't mean I will go to the US every time am online vacation.

Look at itPerhaps the visa officer sees some problems with your story. You keep emphasizing that your daughter was born prematurely. Yet, you were able to fly back with her when she was only 2 months old. Most premature babies are in the hospital for weeks or months, so it would be highly unlikely that she would be able to be taken on a plane at two months old. Add to that the issue that you went prepared to stay for only a month, but managed to stay at least four -- causing questions aboud how you could afford to do so. And, add to that taking Medicare -- for which you usually have to sign something sayng you are a premanent resident or US citizen.

Look at it from the point of the visa officer who, by law, has to assume you want to go and stay permanently in the US until you convince him/her otherwise and may see some problems with your story. Add to that you have a US citizen sister who may have immigrated to the US. Add to that taking thousands of dollars of Medicare -- for which you usually have to sign something sayng you are a premanent resident or US citizen -- without even questioning the fact that you should have been paing the hospital bill yourself from the beginning. And, I believe you said you have applied multiple times since your return, which could make you look desparate to get back into the US. Any of these issues could cause the officer to doubt your intentions and result in a visa denial.

I'm not saying that anything you wrote is false -- just trying to show what it might look like to the interviewing officer. I believe you would have a better chance if you wait a few years before you try again, making you look less eager to get to the US, have some time to work out the hospital bill, etc..

Sorry - somehow managed to submit my last post before I was finished writing it and the system would not let me edit it for some reason. The above is what I meant to say the first time! Edited by jan22

The US Government paid your medical bills through Medicaid. You will not get another visa because you have been a public charge. The US Embassy does not owe you an explicit explanation as to why your visa applications were denied; they can just give you a vague code.

Points taken. 1. I didn't have to sign any document saying that I a US resident for media is, as a matter of fact they came to bedside strange enough I don't know how they know to do that or if it's a norm. 2. My baby was indeed premature but was healthy and was kept in the hospital for 2 weeks for observation, she was born in the middle of July and we came home in early September. Before doing so I made sure that she was ok to go. 3. My sister migrated to tortola since in the 80's , there she met and marry her now deceased husband who is from St Thomas, where she now resides as a citizen. My visit to the CO was 2 years ago. Feel free to advise me further.

Am still awaiting a response. Is there a better way I can contact kings County hospital center in Brooklyn? I had my baby in 2011.

I've sorry, this answer smacks of being deflective.

I'm out.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

the US taxpayers shelled out thousands of dollars....we want our money back.

You did not gain any unique status just because you had a child at our expense in the US. You are not entitled to a B2 visa just because....it does not work that way.

The US taxpayers are tired of paying for other peoples' medical bills, no matter what excuse they offer.

Pay back the entire amount in full and you may have a fighting chance to get another B2 visa, but if you don't, then plan on waiting until your USC child is 21 and can file an immigration petition on your behalf.

Yes that's what I am trying to do, to pay back. Don't beat me up for what happen, sometimes things happen out of our control, so until I pay my bill am not going to apply for Visa if ever. Gonna take a long break from this. Thanks for all the advice all.

As I said, what I was trying to show you is how a visa officer would look at your case. You are still not understanding/acepting the issues. For example, even if they came to your bedside, you had to sign some paperwork to get Medicare. They can't just give it to you without you signing a form - you might have signed it bedside, but you (or your husband) had to sign something. I'm glad your baby was healthy, but having been in the hospital for two weeks means your hospital bill was more than thousands of dollars -- the entire cost for all of your and her medical care was likely more than $100,000 of federal/state tax dollars. You still sound like you believe it's your right to get approved for a new visa -- given that, I don't think there's any more "advice" anyone else can give you. Good luck.

?Who takes a vacation on the US without travel insurance?

4 years not to pay a hospital bill?

My money is on her wanting to do a repeat with another child.

No am not saying am entitled to a Visa and I do understand what you are saying. I didn't stay in the hospital for more than 2 days, but the baby was kept for 2 weeks. As I said, am going to try and find out how much I owe and try to pay it.

No Boiler, I am not pregnant and will never have another child for reasons I know. So I guess you will lose that money you want to bet. If you want to say something, say something that can help, don't judge me.
