Hello everyone. I am in the process for my ROC.

Mailed the package 02/04/2016

CSC received on 02/08/2016

Check was cashed out 02/10/2016

I am a bit worried since I have not yet received my NOA 1. Is there any step I can do? I heard that others received their NOA1 in few days after check has been cashed out. Hope you can give me some advise. Thank you.

You really need to be patient. You've given them just 6 business days since cashing your check to deliver the NOA. If can take up to a month to receive the NOA. At this rate you'll be paranoid throughout what can be a long process. Good luck! :)

Agree. This whole process will force you to be patient, because there's nothing else you can do.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

Thank you all for your advise. I will patiently wait for any updates. I'm just wondering why others received their NOA 1 after check was cashed out. I know that the process is a case to case basis. Hopefully next week I may be able to received my NOA 1 by mail.

I sent mine on 02/03, they received it on 02/04, the check was cashed on 02/09. I have not received my NOA1 yet either. I also see other people getting it pretty fast, which has me a bit on edge but I have no choice but to wait. If after 30 days you have not received it, call them to the customer service line. Don't call before because they will just tell you it's still within the normal processing time. What is a bit concerning is that biometrics are generally sent out within those 30 days, so if they have the wrong address or something you might miss your biometrics appt. Nonetheless, if when you call after 30 days they find out you were not getting your mail, they will likely just reschedule your biometrics if you missed them. Be alert but don't fret. Do you have a copy of the application you sent? Is the address right?

By any chance, did you send an application typed on a computer or a handwritten application? Mine was handwritten and I have a feeling that might slow the process down a bit.

Good luck! Hopefully we get our NOA1 soon.

Hi leciga. We are almost on the same timeline. I type it in a computer the I-751 form. I still have my copy of my application. My address is correct but still have not receive NOA 1 by mail. Others get it in just few days after sending their package. Like you, my concern is the biometric schedule. What is your service center? Mine is i CSC. Keep me posted for any updates.

Mine is the Vermont Service Center. It's frustrating but no one really knows how it actually works inside the Service Centers or why some cases take so much longer than others. We will have to be patient

USPS misplaced my NOA and I got it 18 days after receipt. If you don't get it in 30 days, call USCIS and they will tell how to proceed next.

Thanks everyone for the advise. Greatly appreciate it. And to others who have not yet received their NOA 1 for ROC, you can also post your timeline and might as well your experiences to the whole process of Removing Conditions. God bless us all...

I received my NOA1 today. The receipt date was 02/05 and the postage has a 02/08 date but there was an issue with my address so it was delayed.

That's great. Im glad you already received your NOA 1. What was the issue regarding your address? Did you call them or just waited for your mail?

I actually called them and I said it had been 'almost a month' since I sent my application. They transferred me to a Tier 2 agent and she looked up my info and said they had received it and she gave me my receipt number so I could track the status of my application.

One hour later I checked my mailbox and, lo and behold, my NOA1 was there. The problem is that I live in Brooklyn and there is an address in Manhattan that is the same as mine, except for the ZIP Code. The envelope had the city name (New York) scratched and they penciled in 'Brooklyn'. I assume it went to the wrong place. I changed my address online so that it says Brooklyn, NY instead of New York, NY.

I would suggest you call them and tell them 'it's been almost a month since I sent my stuff'. That way they will let you talk to a Tier 2 agent and they will be able to give you your receipt number.

Not that I'm applying for ROC, but just as an example of USCIS processing ... I sent in my N-400 on Feb 1. It arrived Feb 3. Check was cashed Feb 8. Received my NOA on Feb 17, and it was dated Feb 5.

Just throw your hands up in the air and say C'EST LA VIE! :P
