I want to ask following questions, Please reply to the following questions:


How to fill the Lines/Sections 15 & 17 in form I-130


15. Name & Address of Present Employer (if any)----------------?


Date this employment began:------------------


In the above Line my wife(Petitioner) has to write my Employer/Company name where I am working in Pakistan?



17. List Spouse & all children of your relative.----------------------?


In this section my wife(Petitioner) has to write her name with her children but she has no children or she has to write My Name and my Children but I have no children?

#15 yes your employer and date it began

#17 She lists herself and any children you may have. If you do not have children then she doesn't list anything.

Timeline

I think it is for those who are in US and working there. Since you are going through consular process it is not applicable in your case. I printed N/A in both the petitions of my parents as they were employed in Pakistan. In their interview they mentioned about their jobs though.

This is my opinion. However you may mention the job or just write N/A.

It does not say that this relates only to people employed in the US. Your wife should write your employer's name and address and when you started work there.

Never leave a question blank and never assume it doesn't apply to you unless it says so.

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!
