Hello everyone,

I'm getting ready to file for my fiancee's AOS. My question is regarding my income as the Affidavit of Support. I just graduated school in December and started a job in January in which I make more than enough to cover the I-864 requirements; however, since I was in school for the past years my income has been way under the required amount for the I-864. At the time of submitting the AOS packet I will have about 3 months worth of pay-stubs from my new job along with a letter stating my permanent position status and my salary. Would that be enough for the I-864 to be approved, or should I try to get an co-sponsor? Has anyone had a similar experience; if so, how did you managed the situation? Any sort of advise will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance

You're supposed to list your "current household income" which would be what you're earning in the coming year. It should be fine though and I don't think you'll need a joint sponsor.

Just be sure to provide plenty of financial evidence (pay stubs, job letter etc.)
