Hi,

Do most EAD get approved within 90 days?

Im on day 85 and still nothing. I have a job signed for and ready to start so really want this EAD asap.

My NOA1 for AOS/AP/EAD was Nov 27. Since Im on 85 days, is it just worth waiting to 90 days before getting anxious? I know there are currently some delays, but I just wanted to know if waiting OVER 90 days is now a regular occurrence or still a rarity?

I have already tried to expedite (waiting to hear back) and I sent it update form request.

Thanks

It seems like the average time is between 66 and 93 days. I would wait until the 93 day mark to start inquiring about the card.

i thought it was within 60 days of the biometrics? or was it within 30 days of the biometrics? regardless, the biometrics event is the big timetick, really. if there's an RFE in play, the clock stops for a bit.

According to the link I posted, it's 49-67 days post-biometrics. I was referencing the amount of time from sending in the initial application.

Im at 58 days since biometrics (no rfe currently) and 85 days from NOA1.. I think I have to be patient and wait the whole of next week (bringing total to over 91 days).

Does anyone know if the case can update during the day? So far my experience has been that it only updates at night (sometime after midnight)...

Fingers crossed! I hope thy sped up a little..

Have you filed a service request? I don't know if they help at all...but anything is good to try. Maybe you wanna get your ducks in a row to contact you congress representative's immigration liaison in case the card does not show approved next week? My understanding is that shipping the card takes another week from approval.

What do your statuses online show?

You can file a service request at day 75 either online or via phone for the EAD which forces them to look at your file. Generally most recently they will respond in a few days with an approval of the AP/EAD. You might want to hop on the Nov AOS group for the latest approvals.

I already filed it online earlier last week with no reply yet. I dont even know if they looked at my file. I dont think the USCIS case status changes when someone looks at it does it?

Status won't change unless a decision is made. I was sent an email that my service request had been sent and a post decision would soon follow. We were approved shortly. I would look for a response this week and an approval very soon. Edited by Longrangeshootr

I am in the same situation. PD 24/11/2015, 90 days today and so far no EAD. Also anxious as I would have to travel shortly to my sister's wedding. What office if processing your case?
