Hi guys i'm fairly new to this. I received the letter from NVC saying to have my fiance fill out the DS-160 form, and after completing it do we schedule for a interview before or after we pay for the visa fee ? If I recall correctly after we schedule for a interview my fiance would then have some sort of letter confirming her interview date in order to have her medical exam ?

Thanks in advance,

Azn_101

I don't know how fiance but for my wife i filled put the ds 160 online then they will schedule your interview date. When you get the interview letter then you make an appointment for vacination and medical. Plan out your day and be quick. My wife was able to do both in the same day running back and forth between clinics. Others take more than 1 day. Sorry if that didnt help

May 7, 2014 - I-130 sent to Chicago, IL Lockbox

May 12, 2014 - Case recieved at Chicago, IL.

May 13, 2014 - Case accepted. Received LIN#. Case forwarded to USCIS, Nebraska. i-797 hard copy received shortly after.

After you pay the visa fee.

After you pay the visa fee and schedule your interview appointment online, print the appointment confirmation letter and use it for vaccinations and medical exam. Your fiancee will need that appt confirmation letter.
