Confused, need help

Hello, according to the instructions on visajourney.com for the I-129F form I am to skip questions B18 and B19 all together, is that correct? I am confused as to why. Won't my husband still have to go to the Embassy in London to get a visa? As for question B18, will it hurt if I answer it anyway?

Also, for question A11, is it ok for me to say "see attached" and then write a letter explaining why we originally started a K1 process last year and why we are now doing a K3 process?

Thanks for all your help! I hope when I am through with all this I'll be able to help others here as much as you've all helped me :)

I put the N/A down for the B18 and B19 on my forms. I would be honest if you had another applicaton before and would send the information in an attachement. I put a cover letter on mine and listed everything out on the very top of the application along with the payment. Good luck.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

Ally,

Why aren't you following the USCIS instructions? It's their form. The VJ instructions are wrong, they were written for an outdated version of the form and have not been updated. (The USCIS also neglected to update its instructions when it initially updated the form. But the USCIS has corrected the error, VJ has not.)

As for A.11, I did the same thing as you - started a K1, withdrew it, and switched to K3. I answered the question as asked, and it doesn't ask for any explanation.

Can you post the link where it states in VJ that it is Q18 & 19 and I will see what I can do about getting it updated. With the new forms it is now Q17 & 18.

Thanx  I noticed after I posted that scy had already brought it the Capt'ns attention elsewhere. Hopefully now we can get the update made to avoid confusion in the future.
