Alright so I have called the Santo Domingo Consul and they told me I have to wait for the packet from NVC to receive my interview date. BUT my case isn't even at NVC anymore it's in Santo domingo. So I was confused like has anybody had this problem??? I relieved an email from santo domingo consul saying I needed to schedule my vac appointment but I called today and they tell me I need to wait before I schedule the appointment. They are just confusing me more and someone with a cr1 visa aswell was told she needed to make her own visa and vac appointment when her case wasn't even in the Santo Domingo consul like huh?!?!!?!!! So my case is in Santo Domingo and they tell me to wait for a nvc package that I am NEVER going to get while someone elses case isn't even in santo domingo and they schedule their own dates. What should I do??

somethings broken at NVC? That's my current opinion. For clarity, call into NVC and ask:

1. when will you schedule the interview appointment for the case?

2. if you aren't scheduling appointments, what's the current process to get on the calendar ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I called and they said that Santo Domingo is going to schedule the appointment so I am going to call them tomorrow..

Did you expedite through the NVC. Normally the NVC books appointments. What does your CEAC status say?

No I did not expedite. I guess they sent it off on their own.. The case status says ready.
