Anyone bring your fiancé home from France? Need help

I am filling out my I-129f for me and my fiancé to come to Los Angeles from France so we can get married and finally live together. Question I was just wondering how long it takes for the I-129f process to take than after how long will the k-1 fiancé visa take for her when she goes to the embassy in Paris if that's where she's supposed to go. My husband was from France as well. It only took a month for them to approve our I-129F packet from the day I sent it (we got lucky with getting the California service center). It took about another month for them to send it to the embassy in Paris, and then the timing is up to your fiancee from that point. The sooner your fiancee does the medical, the sooner he will have an interview and get the actual visa.

After his embassy interview, he got the visa delivered to him the following week. There's a very fast turnaround. Your fiancee needs to schedule an appointment with a doctor in either Marseille or Paris (depending on whichever city they're closest to). Once the embassy gets the K1 packet from the NVC, they will send your fiancee a packet 3 which will tell her the way to make the appointment with the doctor. She will also need to get a casier judiciaire even if she has no criminal history and some other documents--it's all listed in that packet. The medical typically costs 200 or so euros.

Will my form be sent to the California service center since I live in California? I know I send to the Dallas address is that correct? Also how did you do the cover letter for your i129? I just got my fiancés g325 paper and intent letter so I will be mailing it shortly. Thank you!

Also when showing proof of ongoing relationship do I just print pictures I take from my phone with the date? Do I write a letter explaining. What were things you guys all did. Much appreciated! Merci!

Your packet will be routed to a service center randomly--it doesn't have any bearing on where you currently live. As for the cover letter, just list out everything you're including in the packet (VJ has examples, and I followed that to the T).

As for proof of relationship, USICS prefers to have more legitimate evidence than pictures, like your flight tickets and passport stamps. I would also include pictures and communication evidence, but all of that is secondary evidence.

Thank you so much! I have both our forms and letters and passport pictures. So now I have to get a copy of my birth certificate. Should I just print out pictures from my computer of pictures of us? Flight tickets and all that I just photo copy it and not send the real thing? Is there anything else I might be missing. I know $340 as well. Thank you

I just went to CVS to get pictures--they're pretty inexpensive. For flight tickets, if you have the real thing, that's great, if not, print out copies from your computer. I also included receipt of an engagement ring (not necessary, but nice extra info) along with text and e-mail conversations. If you have evidence of a joint bank account, that's good info as well--honestly, the us embassy in paris didn't even look at all the extra info my husband brought with him to the interview. It matters more when you're waiting to get your case approved here in the U.S.

Ok. I have the i129f filled out. Did you use a separate paper to write how you met? Also bothe 325 and passport photos and letter of intents I have. Made a photo copy of birth certificate and passport. Photo copied some plane tickets and extra pictures of us together. This is all I have in my envelope and ready to send. Is this good to go? Thank you!!
