Hi guys. Need help

Embassy in Algiers emailed packet 3 requesting i134 affidavit of support. I'm currently unemployed and have been since mid 2014. I have tax transcripts for the years 2014, 2013, 2012 and I do have savings. Would they take that into consideration? I read for i134 someone needs to meet 100% of poverty line. Can anyone explain how this works? Whats 100% of poverty line if it will be for me and my husband. I'm filing for my husband. So it would just be for me and him. And as stated before, I have savings account in bank that I've been living off of,,,,

Anyone can pitch in and tell me how much I would need to show in savings accounts to meet the requirement?

They will not take income from 2 years ago into account, it must be current and ongoing income. You will need to either find a job, or a co-sponsor to stand guarantoor for your husband.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

ok thanks. i was under the impression that i have to be the only one who can sponsor him on an i134, since its totally different from the i864. Otherwise, my brother would be the co-sponsor. So do I file one for me (i134) even though im unemployed, and have my brother file an i134 for himself as a co-sponsor?

With the I-134, the embassy doesn't have to allow a co-sponsor, whereas with the I-864 they do. However, most embassies will allow it, especially if you have a well qualified one.
