We mailed our aos packet to Chicago last week. Will our petitions be sent to Orlando for processing since that is the closest city to us? Or will it be processed in Chicago.?

The Chicago Lockbox is an intake facility. All AOS submissions are routed to the NBC(National Benefits Center) from there. You will either be approved without interview, or your case could be sent to your local USCIS office where you could be sent a letter for an interview appointment. Either way, you will first be sent a biometrics appointment letter, which will also happen at your local USCIS office.
