i have 3 children with 2 different fathers.

i have residency order and parental resposibility over my 2 youngest children.

but i have nothing on my eldest. his father is not on the birth certificate.

i have sent out consent letters (through my solicitor) to both fathers asking permission to take the children out of the jurisdiction to live. both have agreed to sign and send back.

do i need to prove i have residency/custody over all of my children?? or will the letters of consent be enough?? :help:

thankyou for your time

notarized proof of permission is fairly strong evidence... what else are you thinking of?

YMMV

If his father is not listed on the birth certificate I would think not but then I'm in the US. I dont know how your laws work over there. You say you have 3 children from 2 different fathers yet you have already gotten permission from those two fathers for the other two children. Do you not know which is the father for the child in question? Or is it that he does not acknowledge that third child?

I took it as 2 of the children have the same father. I would think that if you have signed letters from the fathers allowing change of residency that would be pretty solid.

Thats how I took it too...so if she has 3 kids, 2 fathers and two letters - it should be easy enough to get the third letter unless the father for some reason doesnt acknowledge that child which is why he's not on the birth cert. (Someone call Jerry Springer..we need a DNA test)
