Hey guys...I maybe just freaking out over nothing, but my check for my form I-130 has cleared the bank and i got the receipt number and it says it was sent on February 27th, but I still haven't received the NOA1...is this a normal problem or does this mean that I probably will not get this one...and do I really have to wait 30 days to talk to someone about it??? Ahhh....i am so frustrated--just the beginning and already having problems...

Thanks

hugs

I really don't know what is going on with these people but you're the 4th person I've seen here who's still waiting for their NOA1. I called customer service and I was told to wait 30 days from the day they said they mailed out the NOA1. The web site says they mailed mine on 02/14, so I'll be calling them on Friday. See if you can get through to them and maybe they can re-send it to you without having to wait the 30 days. You might get someone nice to do it for you. ;)

ive been waiting since the feb 27th too..but i am starting to hear from everyone that they received their I-797 in the US and not overseas..but im an overseas filer who was told by their embassy to file in CA..but it doesnt mention include a us mailing address...what am i to do??

Thanks guys...maybe I will hang tight for a little while longer--ugh...

K, I am not sure about the address, I don't remember seeing anything about it...but I know whenever I send my SO letters or anything regular mail--it takes at least 5 weeks to get there...has your check cleared the bank? If so and u have checked online--it would probably at least take a little longer for your NOA to get to you...Good luck with both of u and thanks for the responses...
