cite the source for which? the i134 or the algerian entry visa?

sorry, the bit about the I-134.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yes. as a refugee from Yemen. I would have had it transferred to there but the cost of living is so expensive and the US embassy in Jordan is so slow at scheduling interviews and not good at communicating at all. Right now, hes staying at friends apartment and cant even get a work visa there since he is a refugee.

actually the consulate in Amman moves very quickly. If he's living in Jordan you should have his case transferred there. You can get a visa to Jordan when you enter the airport, you do not have to apply ahead of time. It costs 30 jds

Would it matter that my husband isn't a resident there? Like I said before, I just took him out of Yemen for his safety so technically he's a refugee in Jordan.

I wonder,if it's like u said , that jordan is quick, how come so many people are transferring cases to algeria or Malaysia when jordan is closer to people escaping yemen.

What did he enter Jordan as?

I had assumed that he would have needed a visa of some sort?

Refugee should be able to process in Jordan.

Correct. They issued him a visa upon arrival for 3 months. and he renewed for another 3 months yesterday. Would they process him since has a visa to stay in jordan...?

I wouldnt even know how to request a case transfer of the k3 from Algiers, Algeria to Jordan. I would assume it would be time consuming as well?

Why did you choose Algiers, I assumed it was because it was easy for him to get there?

stupid me.....i didnt do enough research that US citizens need to be granted visa to enter algiers. Main reason is because it has been super fast at issuing visas for immigrants and my hubby insisted we go there. This hassle of hotel reservations...to get visa sucks.

It's all online, tells u how to apply. Embassies rarely answer phones, most communication is emails. You just have to follow the steps and mail everything needed over night to them.

still not sure why you are traveling all the way to Algeria when he is already in Jordan, makes no sense whatsoever.

First, the case is already in Algeria.....2nd, I asked US embassy in Jordan (via e mail last week) if they'd take the case, if I request to have it transferred to their post, and they rejected.

So I dont really have a choice now.
