Hi! I was just wondering if there will be notifications from NVC where i follow my case status on uscis?

NVC doesn't usually send notification in the mail. Call them to get your case number and invoice ID number. Then follow the case on here https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/

You should be able to see in there when it is sent to Stockholm.

Thank you! I'll stop checking uscis a million times a day and just wait and hope it says it's sent to the embassy in a few weeks :-)

Hopefully not! My guy is coming to norway and staying here a couple of months, so really I'm not in a hurry, but still it seems I'm stressing more than humanly possible ;-) Guess we all are

That's nice he come for that long!... what are you going to do with his job and proof of that to the embassy?

But yeah then you are in good time BUT it is easier to relax with the visa in hand

We were debating on if he should come or not, it seems dumb when we're this close to the goal. He is self employed, and don't get pay stubs, so the only documents he has for his income is tax reports (he's filing for 2015 before he comes), but he also has has his saving account/ trust fund to attach. Worst case scenario he gets a co sponsor. It's definitely going to be good having him with me during the waiting process, I'm very lucky :-)

He'll be going back home before my consulate appointment, at least that's the plan right now, because i still have to quit my job after i get approved *crossing fingers*, and i got a three month agreement before i can leave unfortunately, but at least we'll have great evidence for a ongoing relationship! Lol!!

After my NOA2 (Dec 21/15), I received my NVC Welcome letter in the mail a few weeks later. The Affidavit of Support Fee Invoice was enclosed.

All instructions on what to do next was clearly stated in the letter. However, don't know if things are different for you because my visa category is IR-5.

Thank you! I will just wait and see i guess, i can already see from people who got their NOA2 the same times as me that things move pretty fast, so I'm crossing my fingers :-)

The above is not for you there will be no fee that way.

Hope it comes soon for you I am excited to see how fast they are at the embassy! ... And what the earliest date for an interview slot what that would be if you will look when you book
