Hi everyone,

I am compiling my proof of relationship using photos, utilities (we live together), and plane tickets....HOWEVER, we only have one set of plane tickets from the last two years...

What I am worried about is the fact that i have 4 boarding passes from this trip - but we lost the FIRST boarding pass for my Fiancé so he only has 3.

Any advice is welcome! Do you think we should just toss out my first boarding pass and submit 3 for each of us? Or would it be better to include it and say that we lost one....

Thanks!

One set of tickets is fine--if anything submit yours and your fiance's full passport pages with the stamps in them. One you have to/can submit to prove US citizenship of the petitioner.

I only had less than a quarter of the tickets my fiance and I used during our 3 and a half year relationship before we applied for the k-1 visa, but to make it organized and 'pretty' I created a separate section that was an excel spreadsheet in our packet that basically listed all flight information in it (ie. who flew, booking reference numbers, flight times, seat, etc).

So that's another way to back up/simplify/cross reference what you have in there. Immigration officers like when it's organized because they don't have to go searching for the information. They can refer to the spreadsheet that summarizes pages of information.

just include whatever do you have. what matters is you prove that you have an ongoing relationship.

The official documents ask for evidence of having met in the past 2 years. I have not seen anything about ongoing relationship until you get to the ROC part (way down the road and than only the part after marriage). I did carry a whole bunch of relationship proof with me to the consulate. Never even left the bag. Search for country specific treads, I doubt Paris is really interested in it, but we went through Amsterdam.
