adjustment of status and advance parole of k1 & k2

hello VJers,

Just wanted to ask, how long the adjustment of status and how the advance parole to travel outside US work after married. We want to have a party with my family coz they cannot go to our wedding ceremony.

please help me coz we need to plan everything. tickets and hotel. I still didn't get my visa just done my interview last friday. thank you so much.

Generally AP is approved within 90 days, recent approvals some are within 60 days others like us had to put a service request after 75 days.

Your welcome, as far as your green card the vast majority of k-1's are getting an interview waiver and go straight to being approved, some are extremely fast getting there green card before the AP/EAD, others later.

We submitted my wife's I-485 early Sept 2016 and we received NOA1 Sept 25. Then we received an RFE because we forgot to attach Tax Returns and other supporting document of my income. We sent everything back on October and they did confirm receiving our response. Since then we haven't heard anything about my wife's AOS. My wife did get approved for EAD & AP so at least that's great. I am expecting that we will be waiting for along while. Patience is the key to this process. Some get lucky and others just has to wait. Good Luck!
