How long until we receive Notice Of Action?

Hi, we sent our AOS package off to USCIS back in January, the post office tracking said it was received by them on Feb 5th but we haven't received any NOA.

I called the office today and they say that nothing has gone into their system and no checks have been cashed.

As you can imagine we're very worried, I can see on other timelines that people are receiving NOA between 5 and 10 days of posting it out.

Any advice at this point or should we relax and wait longer?

It is possible for it to take up to 30 days. I would keep an eye out for whether or not the check cashes. That should indicate that they have accpted the submission and perhaps the hard copy receipt notice is just delayed.

When we sent our case off, we were in the same boat. I had looked at so many VJ profiles and those mostly said they got an NOA within 5 business days! I was pretty excited about that! However, our case was received December 10th but our NOA texts didn't come until December 22nd! That was three long weeks! To top it off, we didn't even get our case numbers to show up on myUSCIS until January 14th! Oy vey! But in the end, our case status says the cases were received December 10th. So no harm, no foul, I suppose?

It happens. Remember there was a holiday in between then and now. Since Feb 5th was a Friday, think like they have only had your case for 5 business days (they really have only had it that long!) These texts normally come around 11 pm at night or later. Us in CST got it around 12:30 am or something like that. You might get the texts later tonight or late in the night this week. It's just hitting the time when you should get the texts, really.

I feel ur pain, mine showed delivered on Feb 5th also , as what the above poster said they might have just had our package for 5 bus days (making today the 6th) , I'm gonna give them till Friday and call them to see what is going on

I'm sorry you're in the same boat as us but also relieved that I'm not the only one!!

The lady on the call told me to email lockboxsupport@dhs.gov with the tracking number etc. We checked with our bank that the checks hadn't been cashed yet so I'm assuming the package is sat in a pile somewhere.

(Although they were very quick to cash our check for the original K1 petition back in 2014!)

Here's hoping we both get some news soon!

I had the correct fee but USCIS made the error
