Firstly, that's a really rude way to express that opinion. And secondly it isn't wrong, most embassy's get you to email it to them before your interview.

Perhaps be more polite when replying in the future.

I can tell you haven't been here long if that is what you consider rude. Stick around a bit and hopefully you will toughen up.

The poster was incorrect and it's important to make that clear to the OP so they are not mislead on the correct process.

You do not need to send the I-134 in the I-129 packet.

It isn't wrong, the I134 is not sent with the I129F, which is what the OP was asking. I'm sure the OP appreciates the correction of what someone posted in error. The incorrect poster will now know the correct info as well. Perhaps be more polite before jumping down someone's throat for helping. Thank you.

If you read my girt post that is what I said. I said it wasn't required at this stage of initial application. I said it was sent when you get to the embassy interview stage. So I was correct. And in many embassy's you do have to send it in before they schedule an interview (packet 3).

There are better was to say you are incorrect than "that's completely wrong". Especially when that's not correct.

Also note that not ever embassy is the same in this regard so each person's experience may differ.

:goofy:

This is a funny thread, not funny for the person who asked the question, but funny for those of us looking in from outside.

yes, no, yes, no, yes, no, maybe, no, yes, if the moon is full on the 3rd day of the 2nd week, you hurt my feelings, go to the corner it is time out for you, well......

Not sure why no one is pulling the regulations, copy and paste.

This is like the better question, which wasn't asked, that will get the same response---tax records.

Opinions are just too funny..... :secret:

The I-134 not being required with the I-129F is not an opinion. It is a fact. There is no need to copy and paste the entire I-129F instructions. Though the link to the VJ guide should be enough, which was included in this thread, how about a direct link for those that cannot be bothered to go to the USCIS site themselves? > https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

Nothing in the I-129F instructions about an I-134 because financials are needed for the K-1 visa interview and not the petition.

Hi!!!!

Wow, what a swarm of bees you ran into when asking for help on such a simple item. Now I understand why so many people say the November 2015 I i29F filers forum is so nice. The "go figure it out on your own" folks got booed out early from that thread.

Anyway, it is not so difficult. There is a wonderful guide here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide that lists out exactly what to include. Print it out and then use it as your checklist.

Now you do have the option to include the other items, such as I-134, paystubs/letter from employer (if employment is your basis), along with the other 'frontload' documents you may want to include. But not necessary.

Keep in mind, if you get the dreaded RFE it is not the end of the world. It is a 2-3 week blip. Which I know any additional time spent away from your loved one is hard, but it is not the end of the world.

Recommendation: Find an active forum, thread, that will not pre-judge or belittle you. Hook up with them, and then continue your nightmarish visajourney (walk and sometimes crawl) down the path of broken glass barefooted through the dark forest...it will make your life easier.

hahaha I was thinking the same thing, Jaime! It's a darker world outside of the November thread... I think I'll stay in there for the rest of my journey.
