We watched Babel last night. Good cinematography of Morocco, but I was disappointed with the film overall. Did you see it?

I saw it too. At first I didn't like it but after I saw it I couldn't stop thinking about it and decided it wasn't too bad.

Have a good day everyone!

First Post-Cairo Monday and am hating the change in time, LOL! Of course, I am in no rush anyway since I found out on Friday that I am "without Project" (i.e. on the bench) . I am sure I will be forced to put on some decent clothing to drive out to the office sometime this week, but meanwhile, I think I'll try to catch up on some exercise and other things left undone while out of the country.

Life marches on!!

Now . . . . I will start on my second cup of coffee and go check work email again!

He gave me the news that we needed xtra documentation for our case. This could prolong the wait up to several months. I'm sick about it. :dead:
I bought Borat yesterday. I was in a good mood watching it until I decided to call my husband.

i thought babel was decent.... the only part that wasn't really necessary was the whole japanese aspect of it. they should have elaborated more on morocco and the mexican part. those were believable and could have been more interesting.. .however, i did expect to like it a lot more.

sarah, YES! i just did! thanks!i emailed that guy to see if he can do some stuff for us soon! you rock!!! :energetic:

moody, so sorry to hear about that document fiasco. i hope it doesn't take as long as you expect :(

Yeah, that was my feeling too. The Japanese story was so loosely connected, and I found it extremely dull. I wish they had eliminated that entire part.

I always love watching films filmed in Morocco, but have to say had higher expectations for Babel.

Thanks for mentioning this, Janine. I've heard of the movie but never knew it was set in Morocco. We'll put it on our list of movies to rent.
