Welcome to the new week, everyone! I'm off to have a busy work week (unlike all weeks in the past lately) I'm excited to be packing and buying gifts to bring to Morocco! Hope everyone has a great day!

YIPPEEEEE!!! It's Monday..

I live in a GREAT Country, full of opportunity, and today I get to go earn a good wage, talk to great people, and save money to bring Annie to the USA.

I love working towards having my Annie here with me!!

If it's going to be, it's up to me!

LoveLine (aka Timeline)

January 2005 - Met Annie online

February 13th 2006 - Met in Real - WOW!! Ikaw maganda!

February 14th 2006 - Proved I was really serious, proposed to Annie - She said "Yes"

February 2006 - January 2007 - Both working, saving, planning. Continuously chasing Annie online, on phone...

January 22, 2007 - February 4th, 2007 - Together again in Philippines, working on paperwork, visiting family.

February 27th 2007 - I-129F Mailed to Nebraska

March 6th - NOA1 Received.

May 23rd - NOA2, Received Approval Email

June 14th - Receive letter from NVC, packet on the way to Manila Embassy

July 30th - Annie receives packet from Embassy, appointment scheduled for September.

August 29th - Annie survives Blood Draw, Injections, and successfully completes Medical at St. Lukes.

September 13th - Annie is a huge success at the Embassy, SHE IS APPROVED!

September 20th - Visa in Hand, tickets purchased..

December 18th - Jumped on Airplane, Philippines for Christmas and New Year's.

December 27th - CFO Seminar Succesfully Completed

January 8th - Jumped on Airplane to USA together, Seattle POE, arrived home to Kansas.

March 14, 2008 - Married

May 19, 2008 - AOS NOA1 Recieved, Biometrics scheduled for June 18.

Somehow our alarm clock got set 2 hours ahead instead of 1 (dunno, maybe we both set it forward LOL). When I got up I was surprised at how dark out it still was, but I just thought it was the time change. It was so nice realizing my mistake and getting back in bed for another hour!

Feeling fired up for the week now! :dance:

Its a good reminder to be grateful to have a job, even if I don't always enjoy it. I'm buried under a mound of work because of the 3-day weekend I took, but I needed the break. The weather is just SO gorgeous. It was wonderful to listen to the birds singing while walking to work this morning, even if it was in the dark. You have to admire their enthusiasm. The frogs are singing at night now too and I love that sound. I just love Spring!

Helloooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Moooorrrrnnnnning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well we got back in the states last night. We didn't get home until 10:30 and didn't get to bed until 12. I'm actually feeling very energetic this morning. I am wearing my very cute, new, and stylish jilaba at work today and I have gotten many compliments on it. After spending 3 weeks in Morocco and doing next to nothing productive, I am really happy to be back at work. But upon my arrival I found out that the company is going through some major cutbacks and it looks like we will be losing the internet in the next few weeks. So that's a downfall of coming back to work, but I have two job offers that I am going to be calling tomorrow to let them know I am back and can start within the next month or two.

So I miss Morocco very much. I wish I had more money and more vacation time so I could go back.

Does anyone know how to prepare a tagine to be cooked in? I forgot to have that done before I left.
