Hi,

my uncle applied for his brother's family (my father's family) in 2003, and in 2010 we got approved, but few months ago we receive that we are now in the immigration pipeline and they emails us that we have to do the following steps to complete this immigration.

But unfortunately, i crossed 21 and my name was not there in the list.

Can someone tell me why cspa law didnot mention my name? How does cspa work, how or what can i do now?

Thanks

Junaid

You take your real age from that you subtract the days from the acceptance of the petition to the approval of the petition. This becomes your CPSA age. You must use exact dates and still be under 21.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

i turned 22 last November. can you just clearify that CSPA is done automatically, or will my parents or uncle have to do or fill the form or anything should have done in the past?

i mailed the us immigration dept they replies this:

This case is currently under review for applicability of the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA). You will be notified once a decision is reached. Please be advised that there is no timeframe for this process. Please do not contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General, as they will be unable to provide you with further information.

my parents are waiting for their confirmation regarding my status, they are not submitting the visa fees at the moment.
