Green card and overseas

Hey everyone!

We just started our journey to get a CR1 spouse visa. My husband is currently stationed in Texas for 2 years but would like to come back overseas after that. Can you PCS with your husband if he gets orders to be stationed overseas? I read that you are supposed to meet some residency requirements in the USA in order to keep your green card. Do you lose your green card if you are stationed overseas with your husband? Do you have to apply for a CR1 visa again? We are a bit confused about that. I think that the best option would be to extend his tour in Texas. We are just thinking about the future.

First meeting: 04/14/12

Wedding: 11/23/15

i130 petition sent to Phoenix Lockbox: 01/20/16

NOA1: 01/26/16 (Notice Date written on I-797c)

NOA2: ???

I'm pretty sure if your husband is pcs overseas after you get your green card you can apply to expedite citizenship. You should be able to do this to go with him.
