Somebody from Argentina? Police certificate HELP!

Hello everyone!

First of all, I'm not sure if this topic goes into this forum, but I'd like to make Argentinians an inquiry about the Police Certificate that we have to bring to the interview.

It is required to bring the certificate that has the "excemption of Art. 51", and the original copy.

1) I am not sure I have the correct one, how can I be sure I have the excemption in there?

2) Since they send the certificates through email on pdf format, do I need to get a signature from someone or having it certified, or the printed version alone will be just fine?

Thank you and have a happy valentine's, specially for the ones like me that are away from their SO.

Hello,

The police certificate should have this sentence somewhere on the document: "Este documento acredita que el certificado emitido lo es con excepcion al articulo del 51 Codigo Penal, a solicitud del propio interesado."

We had to get the certificate done 3x because they kept failing to include that sentence!

But once you have it with the proper wording, it is fine the way it is. Since it is a national document, you don't need to get it legalized anywhere. Just print it off and take it to the interview!

Hi Bren!

I don't know if you'll read this, but I'll give it a try :)
My interview is in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering whether you had to have your Police Certificate legalized or not for the Interview. (I only got the downloadable PDF)

Anyway, I hope by now you're happily married

Ale

It doesn't have to be certified. Any copy printed off works just fine as long as it has the Article 51 exception. Good luck!
