My husband is from Egypt. I am from US. We are 11+ years difference with me being the older one. We visited several times and included itineraries/boarding passes, but we also included a few pics of us traveling together (in and out of Egypt), pics with friends, Facebook messages...They never worried about our age difference. Or...if they did, they never told us.

hiiiii,

congratulation... but how old r u or how old is he, I'm in same situation and I need an advise, thx

My wife and I have an age gap larger than any mentioned so far. At the K1 interview, the age gap was briefly mentioned; it was not a problem. We had been communicating for 18 months before the interview. Also, we met three times and I was in Moscow when the interview was scheduled.

It is important to provide plenty of relationship documentation. It is OK to bring extra documentation to the interview.

VJ has an excellent set of sample interview questions. Be sure to review these questions thoroughly.

Good luck.

Olga is younger. :D

Cultural norms can be an important factor. Is it customary for Algerian men to marry older or younger women? If you are going against what is 'normal', it would be a good idea to produce extensive relationship evidence.

Be sure to bring plenty of evidence of your meetings and communication. You should know all about her family: names of her children; their ages; are they married; do her kids have kids. You should know her life story and she should know yours.

Good luck.

My partner turned 29 on 2/11/16 and i am 52. He is from the Philipinnes and i am US citizen. During John Rex's interview, no questions about difference of age. The CO just asked him by birthdate, full name, where i work. I would not worry about it, especially since you have visited.
