i didn't really think it possible, but i feel dumber having read this thread. dumber but warmer, as the temperature has been rising since the sun rose behind clouds this morning. how does the sun not burn off the clouds? how are the clouds still here? why is it still winter?

My grandfather floated here on a goddamn raft from Hungary and landed at Ellis Island like hundreds of years ago and that raft was leaky like a sieve? You know how leaky sieves are, right? Not a lot more expensive but I can get a single patty cheeseburger, small fry and small tonic @ 5 guys for around $11.50. The same items at Smashburger cost me about $13 for the same. It might just be a local thing on the pricing, I'm sure it varies from state to state. But I wasn't impressed with the Smashburger experience at all, their fries are terrible even when they're hot. Fuddruckers still makes the best burgers around here imo, The 99 Restaurant is pretty good too.

the basket is 6.50. add 1 buck for cheese. they don't do tonic but you can get a coke for a buck.

Yeah, I agree that Applebees is nothing special. I don't think they're terrible, but they're certainly not my first choice to eat. That's why I said the 99 is "better" than Applebees. I love burgers, I would eat them daily if I could. I'm always on the look out for good burger places.

No Cheddar's in this area, never heard of them until your post. I looked at the Cheddar's menu on-line, it looks a lot like the 99 Restaurant we have up here, they do a little bit of everything and it's all pretty good. I've had Checkers in the past, not bad, but nothing special.
