My in-law applied for F2B (Oct 2013) for my brother-in-law (over 21). We are in south and somehow the case went to VSC and it's been stuck there for the last 2+ years. I'm noticing that TSC and CSC moving those cases in 5-8 months. I've noticed that VSC dates haven't moved for the last 9-10 months. Isn't it little bit unfair because if your case goes to TSC or CSC, you get PD ahead of 2013 cases.

Any insight would be helpful.

I-130 Timeline for brother-in-law (Mother-in-law applied it)

11/23/13- Received NOA1 (VSC)

I noticed that I've PD as Nov 18 2013 on NOA-1 797C.. Should I just wait until VSC approves since PD already been assigned.

hi

it doesn't matter how long the i130 takes to be approved, the faster ones, will still go to the national visa center and be stored until the priority date becomes current

so it doesn't matter if it is 5 months or five years, the wait is over 7 years for the priority date to become current

It's not unfair since the overall wait is the same.

If CSPA was in play, it's an advantage when USCIS takes it time to approve the I-130.

You are not understanding how it's actually a good thing for lots of people who are single over 21 with older children.
