The reason he was giving conditional card is to see if the marriage you both entered is in good faith or not ! And also It is easier for immigration to remove a Foreign national Green card holder if he commits any crime and is involved in drugs or if he is a threat to the national security.

Lots of scammers stick around because they think they need to until citizenship or ROC.

I find it hard to believe that a "scammer" who allegedly put in over a years worth of effort to convince both his spouse and the US government that the relationship was real didn't put in the effort of a quick google search to find out that he in fact did not need to stick around.

I think you give scammers a bit too much credit. Most of the scammers I've ever known are not too bright. They prey on the weak and desperate and every once in a while they get lucky and fool someone with their guard down.

The fact that he asks about his citizenship doesn't make you at peace ? But he is supposed to feel at peace with your threats about shipping him back

like a t-shirt bought on ebay ? Of course he wants to be informed about his immigration status, who wouldn't.

No, it doesn't suck that he gets to stay since you brought him here, it is good that your child will have a father here. Your attitude of being so

vindictive is clouding what's best for your child. Divorce, arrange custody and child support. I am sure your child can benefit from his child support

and from visits or joined custody. Why should the tax payer foot that bill. He has a right to stay here and your child has a right to his father.

If you think that sucks then why don't you move ! Revenge is an ugly thing, get over it.

In regards to your statement "what's the point of giving him a conditional green card then might as well give him citizenship righy when they get here."

Had it been so you would have jumped for joy. You couldn't wait to "bring him here" fast enough, you spread your legs when he wanted a child so stop saying he was in a hurry for a child, be accountable for picking your spouse, for choosing to get pregnant and for petitioning him.

Learn that you can't erase your past by wanting to send him back, it's ridiculous. People like you scream at USCIS because the process is too slow

and if it doesn't work out they scream at USCIS because the process was too easy ? Seriously ?!

Perfectly bona fide good faith marriages can and do fall apart. If he did use you then take accountability for being naive and gullible to not check him out

longer when you met him. Jumping into a relationship with someone was your choice, deal with it as a mother doing whats best for her child.

People make stupid choices in picking the father of their children and then make the children suffer by tearing the father away from them.

I have no patience for such nonsense. If it was so bad then why did you not end it before he received the green card, something must have gone right

somewhere.

I have a feeling this post (and then mine too) will be removed but I must say: Well said! Couldn't have said it better myself and I agree 100% with every word you said even though you could have worded it a little better, some is against TOS...

My apologies if it is against TOS but man I just get upset when I read all these "I want to ship him back stories" 24/7 by people making

bad choices and then complaining and seeking revenge.

Same here, so tired and disgusted of the behavior of some USC's on here. Spoiled brats who think they can decide over immigration.

How about immigrants making bad choices?

Knowing the USC is a total fruitcake yet still want to get married to him / her?

Then come on here to post on how to get green card, or what is the USC's obligations to support her/him due to I-864 just because the 'USC brought me here'?

Frankly, both USC and immigrant should vet each other carefully and thoroughly before committing to marriage.

Absolutely true. All these couples only meeting once, getting engaged and/or married and they realize their partner is a nutjob and wonder what went wrong...

I agree with Nola on this one. I also agree with only hearing one side of the story.

Not happy? Dont want to try to make it work? Divorce. But dont be vendictive. Your child suffers if you become that.

OP may sound vindictive but may have reasonable suspicion of being used (fraudulently) to acquire permanent residency.

Because a very large amount of USC's are nothing but spoiled children walking around in an adults body. Lot's of special snowflakes yanno.

Really? Unsubstantiated generalization.
