Medical interview Process (merged threads)

Hello,

Our K1/129F Perition was recieved my the embassy earlier this week and we are awaiting further word on what action would be to take next. I am aware the medical needs to be done so just to be safe, I emailed the embassy if t is no issue to take the medical in the company by days and they stated the following which I found a bit odd as I thought the medical is typically done BEFORE the interview.

Statement from embassy.

"Dear Sir,

Thank you for your e-mail. Your fiancé is not to do her medical yet. She will be instructed to do her medical after her interview by this office. She will receive an appointment letter, with instructions attached when the next set of appointments are being scheduled."

Hi, I think it might depend on each embassy how they process things. For most, they ask for medical in advance. What country will be processing this? can you update your timeline so we can give you more information? You can ask embassy specific information to other people that already went through the process there. I would call and also maybe wait for further instructions like the Packet 3 before continuing.
