@Babu-INDIA, yes we went and applied for SSN he received today and right away we went to DMV to applied for ID, he will receive ID next week.

on DS-260 we checked boxed to send SSN, and it will take them months to send it, when i applied for my mother we did not receive her SSN until we went to the office and applied.

Hello Everyone! I haven't updated my husband's interview experience yet.

Interview was scheduled for April 6th. everything went pretty smooth. at the 1st window They just requested his contact information to inform him when passport is ready, 2nd window requested original documents, 3rd Window - interview

Interview didn't last more than 5 mins, very basic questions like Who is sponsoring you? when did you get married? how did you meet your wife? any kids? have you been out of the country in the past few years? in the end he said: "Perfect, congratulations your visa application is approved and you will receive your passport with in 10 business days."

no additional documents were required, officer did not ask for any other proofs at the time of interview either.

April 7th CEAC status changed to ISSUED, now we are just waiting for the local courier call to pick up passport. I hope to receive it soon :)

anyone else recently interviewed? Esp from Pakistan? if yes, how long did it take from issuance of visa till your physically received passport? one of my friend got in 4-5 business days.

Hi nimra congratulations... when is ur husband coming ... ? I applied for my husband too PD MAY 14 2015 case completed waiting for priority date to become current ... :)

Even though we checked boxed for SSN in DS-260 still we can go to SSN office and apply again? I too checked box but I don't want to wait for months rather we can apply at SSN office.

AT DMV office you applied for State ID? you mentioned ID will be received next week only?
