Hi Everyone- I am wondering if anyone on here could help shed some light on an issue I am facing.

I had my interview at the Montreal consulate on January 13, 2016. I was told my visa was approved and that should expect to have my passport with visa back in two weeks. However, 4 weeks later I still haven't received my passport or any notice from the consulate. I used the public inquiry forum to contact the embassy and they told my that my case was "under consular review." I checked the CEAC status and it still says "Ready" in terms of being ready to schedule an interview. I have not received any more contact such as a request for more documents from the consulate. Has anyone else dealt with this in the past who can shed some light on what I am experiencing? It is very unnerving!!

Thanks!

You're in AP. Generally all K1 go into AP for some period of time.

You may be in AP due to reasons to your case as well.

Hey my interview was January 6th I got my visa in hand on the 14th Im currently in the US in married! It all depends on how far away from the consulate you live and how busy they are I received emails with tracking numbers 5 days after my interview so hopefully you will get yours soon.. It took forever to get my packet three but no time at all to get my visa Montreal is a little tricky..

Goodluck !

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:
