Hi everyone,Its been 4 months now since my lovely other half arrived. We got married before the 90 days. Question is now, Do we have to file anything asap? We are kinda enjoying are time and not all that paperwork.lol. She has told me that we need to send a copy of are marriage to local phils embassy with in 30 days of being married. Is that true? We also have not had the marriage recorded yet. My question is can we enjoy another month before the paper train starts or is there something we must do right away? Thankyou.

Thanks, Ya, I read that before I posted questions. Didn't see anything on there on timeline. If there was a deadline on time to complete those things.. That was my main question and follow up question on prove of marraige to local embassy office. She is telling me we have to run down to local phils, embassy office and give prove of marriage to them with in 30 days of marrage. Which that deadline would be friday. It's a 2 hour drive from here. I don't see anything on my checking online for it, but she said at cfo, they said it's a must. Thanks again.

Nope you do not have to complete ROM (Report of Marriage) to the Philippine consulate within 30 days. Like you, we goofed off for a time, so didn't complete ROM until 8 months later.

We started AOS (Adjustment of Status) 2 months after we were married.
