How to sign up for text/email notifications from USCIS?

Hi all!

This is dumb question, how how do I get text or email updates from USCIS? I remember including G-1135 in my initial AOS filing, but I read somewhere that you couldn't use this form for service center filings, hence I didn't attach it to my I-751 packet. I now see others posting that they received e-notifications. How do I sign up? Thanks in advance for your help!

On the USCIS case tracker section you can sign up for an account to track your case. You will need the biometrics letter to do so.

Guys, my question may be a little stupid but I need to ask anyways. When you apply for ROC the case status online says case was received from the moment you get the fingerprint notice to the end when the card is in production stage. What if you create a case account with USCIS. Is it going to say something different like for example case history, if fingerprints got done, transfer to a different office and so on. I know back in the days people were following LUDs- soft and hard. Please update me. I wanna sign up for an account but do not know if this account is going to tell me the same thing-case was received.

SOft and Hard LUD does exist still. Create a profile on USCIS and add your case number. LUD still shows up.
