Hi I am so grateful for this site. StRting to get nervous for long awaited AOS interview. Not about anything except documentation. We sent in our I864 back in May with everything u needed to, I didn't get RFE or anything. But now that it's coming closer to interview I feel worried. I used a co sponsor as I'm a student. But I sent everything in so I'm praying I don't have to bring any more info. Let me stop rambling lol, my question is...

Do I need my (I'm US citizen) birth certificate for interview?

Since I have submitted all my original i864 documents when I sent the package in, is there anything else I need to bring regarding income etc, or will those from my co sponsor still be the papers I need?

Is there a list of anything I need for AOS interview?

Thank uuuuuu

Yes well I'm

Waiting for the reschedule but the original one said originals of all forms sent to uscis. I couldn't really figure out what that meant. We used a preparer and didn't really get copies of the original packet (like all the i864 co sponsor etc) like that was so stupid of me. So what original forms? Like the notice of actions? Thanks

We took the instructions on the AOS interview letter quite literally. We brought with us every scrap of paper that we had accumulated in association with our immigration journey thus far. The IO can, and may ask to see anything that you have submitted in association with the immigration process. For example, he asked to see my original divorce decree (a copy had been sent in with initial I-129F petition over one year prior to the interview). Thankfully, I had brought the original with me, very likely avoided a RFE.

YMMV,

Good luck on your immigration journey.
