Asking for help from VJ members who have experience dealing with or first hand information about the following questions.

  1. Will being 6 months pregnant prevent her from completing medical at St Lukes in Manila?
  2. Does my fiancée need a waiver in order to not have to be immunized with vaccines that are dangerous for baby? If so what is the process for that waiver?
  3. Does need to do the chest X-Ray’s even though she is pregnant? Is that safe?
  4. Do they have courtesy lines and expedited process for pregnant patients.
  5. Any other pertinent advice would also be helpful?

She has permission from doctor and Asiana Airlines to fly at 7 months pregnant.

Asking for help from VJ members who have experience dealing with or first hand information about the following questions.

  1. Will being 6 months pregnant prevent her from completing medical at St Lukes in Manila? - NO, she can take the medical. She will have an OB consult. Bring all docs from her OB to the medical.

  2. Does my fiancée need a waiver in order to not have to be immunized with vaccines that are dangerous for baby? If so what is the process for that waiver? no waiver necessary, she will undergo vaccine evaluation and they know what vaccines that should not be given to pregnant women.

  3. Does need to do the chest X-Ray’s even though she is pregnant? Is that safe? - YES, please refer to St Luke's website for more info.

  4. Do they have courtesy lines and expedited process for pregnant patients. - i have not seen one but maybe they will accommodate her over others in line on the other procedures. I have seen pregnant women in line for OB with me and there was no special treatment for them to skip the line.

  5. Any other pertinent advice would also be helpful?
