Interview Language and My job

Hello Friends,

Just received letter from NVC saying that my parents have been put in Q at the US Consulate for their Green card interview. the letter is dated FEB 5th and they say that it might take under 60 days to schedule am interview with the consulate depending on time slots available at consulate. Now my dad can speak and read English but my mom cant and hence we were hoping that the whole interview be done in Hindi so that if she is asked questions she can respond. But so far there has been no choice anywhere on the forms to give a preference of language (me and my wife did and paid all the paper work) Am I missing something Do I call NVC?? or should I send email to consulate ?? saying my parents would prefer interview to be conducted in Hindi.

Secondly I currently work in a unhappy job. I plan to be on this job till they get their immigrant visa at the consulate. But my worry is if I quit a week after they get their visa would they be denied entry in the US cause their son does not have a job? (after I quit my job I plan to go to India to help them pack and we all come together) They might ask me or them does your son work at the port of entry right? By the way my wife makes more then what is needed for 4 people. Thanks for all your help guys. I really appreciate it.

Hello Friends,

Just a quick question when my parents go for their Green card interview at the consulate will the consulate officer ask for a job letter from my parents of me and my wife? we have already given my parents W2's, Tax papers of the last 4 years and 2 recent paystubs. Is the job letter necessary too? we are sponsoring them this is not a employment based green card.

We got the letter from state department regarding their interview date and in it there was a link to choice of language at interview so we did exactly that. Thanks guys.
