Hi everyone.

My PD is Nov 17, still waiting for IL.

By the way, I wanted to let you know guys that NVC cannot move the cut-off date just for 1 or 2 days. The next PD can be only 1st, 8th, 15th, or 22nd of a month.

You are right about the dates, I noticed the same thing.

My pd is also 17Nov and still waiting for IL!!Good luck to everyone :)

Please let us know when your get your interview letter.

Thank you.

NVC processing happens in anticipation of the PD becoming current. It's completed early to make sure that people are ready for their interviews. It's not a good idea to wait until the interview is close to ask for a complete case file from people. Furthermore, people must wait for a current PD.

It's the government and lots of visas are processed, so there is no way to do things immediately.

My case got complete in less 3 weeks. Now we have to wait 6 months or more for the interview

You have to wait for a current PD.

Better to wait for an interview for 6 months rather than be given a short time to collect the paperwork and not be able to get the case completed before the interview. Some people need months to get their paperwork completed.

That's amazing but it's possible she expedited her case or got status update to us citizen otherwise it is a miracle.

My case with pd Dec 1 2014 has been completed since October 2015 with no IL.

I wonder why they quickly get our cases completed with no IL in sight.

There's nothing so frustrating&lonely leaving apart from the only 1 person we have decided to spend our lifetime with.

Hope these guys understand that.

but we have hope.

Maybe the case got upgraded to CR1 type. Can't get interviewed before the PD gets current. Visa allocation doesn't work that way for F2A cases.

If it is then their case is very very lucky. The majority if not all of us wont get that type of luck here.

Back on waiting, and Happy July Fourth to all!

Best wishes.

This is probably no longer an F2a case. The petitioner probably became a USC and this case was upgraded to an IR case.

The July 2016 VB shows a current PD of Nov 15, 2014. The VB states the F2a category would advance one or two weeks in August and September. A March 2015 PD would not be current for many months, so there is no way this person would be interviewed in August. If this was really and F2a case, then thr PD would need to jump 4 months in the August VB.

second to aaron2020 on that.

I am a PD of March 2015 myself. I guesstimate the time when it gets current will be around Jan/Feb 2017.

Best wishes.
