Hello everyone!

I am going to marry my american boyfriend but i have a problem...

He is in the national guard and studying at college so he does not meet the income requirement.

His parents will help us. His dad is retired and living with his wife (but my boyfriend in the same house too).

I wanted to know how the household size is calculated in our case...

My boyfriend will submit his document with he being the sponsor plus me, so 2 people.

His father will submit his document with he being the joint sponsor, plus me, plus his wife. Total of 3 people.

What about my boyfriend? He is 24 years old. I read that jopint sponsor must count children if not over 21 years old.

Do we have to count him too? Our household will be 3 or 4 people??
