hi all just want to ask your opinion. my birth certificate indicated that I was born on 30th of September. however i was told by my mum that I was born at midnight which is October 1.this is the date which was used in filing my I 130 petition. I have used the October ist date for all my government documents for the past six years. if the immigration authorities find out about this; do you think it could cause issues in processing my cr1 or IR1 visa. pls I need ur responses because this matter is causing me grave worries.

yes, it will cause confusion (more likely temporary denial until you get a valid passport) cause at this point, you do not have a valid Nigerian passport. If the October 1 date is on your passport but your birth certificate says sept 30, then that is an issue. Birth dates are personally identifiable information used to establish your identity. But why did you just start using the October date in the last 6 years. If there was confusion about your birthday, would there have been confusion through elementary and secondary school enrollment and what not? Why did it just become confusing?
